Considering that this isn't the most strict of forums, I'm inclined to say that if you don't like a topic with a [slight] bit of difference between it and another (much less, in the off-topic forum), then just... don't post here?
I don't know. It seems to be a relatively reasonable solution to me. I only close topics here if they're exact or near exact duplicates of existing ones, without a shadow of a doubt. But well, to avoid a conflict of interest, I'll restrain myself from getting any more involved in this little spat And my quote... a bit funny for the more dirty-minded out there: "Accelerate to ramming speed!" - Worf.
